Position Overview::
The Senior Accountant provides support to critical areas of the corporate accounting and financial reporting function. This role will be responsible for complex accounting and reporting activities across treasury, debt and interest accounting, lease accounting, stock compensation, intangible assets, purchase accounting, consolidations, technical accounting, and financial reporting under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
What you will do::The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly and quarterly close processes, lender and covenant reporting, balance sheet integrity, audit support, and continuous process improvement. This individual will partner closely with FP&A, HR, IT, operations, foreign locations, and business unit leaders to ensure accurate accounting, complete reporting, and strong internal controls. The role also requires the ability to independently research technical accounting matters, prepare accounting memoranda and policies, and review work prepared by less experienced accountants where needed.
