Chewy encourages out-of-the-box thinking and welcomes innovation from every member of the team to lead the pack and crush our goals. ;;;;;What You'll Do:;;;;;Review and analysis of financial statements and key metrics for assigned areas;;;;Prepare general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliation in compliance with policies and procedures ;;;;Support the design and implementation of new accounting processes and routines to enable emerging business operations and ensure scalable growth;;;;Provide guidance to cross-functional stakeholders;;;;Provide mentorship and task management for junior Chewtopians;;;;Identify and implement process improvements as continuous improvement;;;;Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation as necessary;;;;Help design and implement internal controls over accounting processes ;;;;;;;What You'll Need:;;;;;BA/BS degree in Accounting;;;;CPA or path to CPA preferred;;;;3+ years of related experience;;;;Strong technical accounting and financial analytical skills ;;;;Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;;;;Advanced proficiency in Excel ;;;;Experience working with GL software, SQL, or Tableau is a big plus ;;;;Experience in establishing new accounting processes preferred;;;;Position may require travel;;;;;;Chewy is an equal opportunity employer.
