Participate in the review of complex transactions, including investments, acquisitions and financing arrangements.
Assist the Manager with determining appropriate U.S. GAAP treatment leveraging FASB guidance and research tools.
Provide support to teams throughout the company with respect to accounting issues surrounding acquisitions, dispositions, revenue recognition, leases, debt & refinancing, and stock compensation
Assist with monitoring of changes in GAAP or SEC reporting
Assist with training on various accounting topics to regional and corporate departments
Assist with identifying, integrating and documenting new accounting requirements into company accounting policies
Provide clarification of current accounting requirements to stakeholders
Partner with financial reporting work to meet corporate deadlines
Present resolutions to senior management as needed
Assist with special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
3+ yrs of professional experience
Big 4 or public / private
CPA, parts passed or actively pursuing the CPA exam
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines
Intellectually curious approach to the business
Able to work with various team members across multiple departments
Excellent verbal communication skills and able to communicate technical concepts to the business
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and manage deadlines
