Senior Accountant
Salary:$90,000-120,000 (DOE)
Location: Daily onsite in Long Island City, Queens

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
• Own accounting for specific entities, including full GL and journal entries
• Prepare monthly financials, including balance sheets and account reconciliations
• Lead month-end close processes (accruals, payables, adjustments)
• Develop audit schedules and support external audits
• Manage sales tax, union reporting, and compliance-related accounting tasks
• Work within Sage and CMiC systems to maintain accurate financial records


Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
• 3–7+ years of accounting experience (construction or related industry preferred)
• Strong experience with month-end close, GL, and financial reporting
• Experience with Sage and/or CMiC strongly preferred
• Exposure to audits and compliance (sales tax, union reporting)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
