Position Summary
As a Senior International Accountant, you will take the lead on the monthly closing process for selected global divisions, ensuring financial precision across multiple borders. This role is designed for a proactive problem-solver who can navigate complex international business strategies while maintaining strict GAAP compliance. You will be responsible for developing streamlined reporting procedures and providing senior management with the financial intelligence needed to sustain rapid global growth.

Essential Functions
Entity Oversight: Direct the accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned international business units.
Month-End Leadership: Orchestrate and execute the full monthly close cycle to ensure timely global consolidation.
General Ledger Management: Process divisional journal entries and perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
Tax Compliance: Facilitate the preparation and completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual international tax filings.
Cross-Border Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for international employees, vendors, and legal counsel regarding accounting, invoicing, and compliance requirements.
Operational Support: Partner with internal departments to manage customs documentation, licensing renewals, and insurance requirements for global offices.
Audit Support: Provide key documentation and support for both corporate financial and local statutory tax audits.
Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth P&L flux analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Special Projects: Lead ad-hoc financial initiatives and process improvements as the international business scales.

Qualifications
Education: BS in Accounting or Finance; a CPA or MBA is considered a significant advantage.
Experience: 4+ years of diverse experience in accounting, finance, or audit, with a preference for candidates from multinational corporate environments.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite and experience with large ERP systems.
Autonomy: Proven ability to operate independently and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
