About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our Riverview, Florida headquarters. This is an office‑based position scheduled during core business hours, Monday through Friday.

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, audit coordination, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with Swiss GAAP and internal accounting standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility

rn

Accounting & Financial Reporting

rn

rn

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with company standards rn
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc financial reporting and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts rn
  • Calculate and record accruals as required rn
  • Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 rn
  • Prepare monthly cost center reports for 50+ cost centers, ensuring accuracy and completeness rn

Process Improvement & Forecasting

rn

  • Investigate, document, and analyze accounting workflows to identify and implement process improvements rn
  • Actively collaborate in annual budget and forecast processes rn
  • Provide ongoing support to the finance team related to accounting processes and procedures rn

Compliance, Audit & Treasury Support

rn

rn

  • Ensure compliance with parent company accounting guidelines (Swiss GAAP) rn
  • Assist the Controller with monthly and annual financial reporting to the parent company rn
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations for three companies and communicate open items with relevant departments rn
  • Liaise with external accounting firms to support annual financial audits and tax‑related schedules rn
  • Lead and support sales tax audits with applicable U.S. states rn
  • Understand the flow of foreign currency transactions in D365 and serve as a backup for recording those transactions rn
  • Perform other duties as required in support of the Finance team rn

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required); CPA preferred rn
  • 3+ years of applicable accounting experience with demonstrated success

  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures rn
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables rn
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments rn
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills rn
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities rn
  • Ability to plan and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks independently rn
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment rn
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint rn
