Senior Accountant Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000

Overview Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This individual will play a key role in managing core accounting functions, improving processes, and supporting accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure financial integrity and support ongoing business growth.

Responsibilities • Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting • Analyze variances and provide key insights to support decision-making • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Support budgeting and forecasting processes • Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and related reporting • Assist internal and external auditors by providing documentation and explanations • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls • Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development

Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred) • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
