Senior Management AccountantDirect Hire role with our client located in Rockford, IL.Work Environment: On-Site with Future Potential for a Hybrid Schedule.Seeking a hands‑on Senior Management Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing manufacturing organization. This role will partner closely with leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive process improvements, manage inventory and job costing activities, and provide valuable insights that support business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, KPI reporting, and management insights.Lead month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.Manage inventory accounting, part margin analysis, and related process improvements.Maintain general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, and depreciation records.Prepare and monitor weekly cash reporting and 13-week cash flow forecasts.Support job costing processes to ensure accurate project and production cost tracking.Assist with annual audits, tax preparation, and compliance activities.Partner with operations through the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process to align inventory levels with production and customer demand.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.Audit or industry experience with strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and job costing.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; manufacturing ERP experience preferred.Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and process improvement capabilities.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, lean environment.This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic manufacturing setting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
