Senior Accountant | St. Louis, MO
We're currently partnered with a top public accounting firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to take on more responsibility within engagements, work closely with clients, and continue building both technical and leadership skills in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and completing compilation, review, and audit engagements
- Assisting with planning and execution of attest engagements
- Evaluating internal controls and performing audit testing
- Communicating directly with clients to gather and clarify information
- Supervising and mentoring staff accountants on engagements
- Preparing various tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary) as needed
- Supporting special projects and firm initiatives
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Compensation:
$75,000 – $100,000 base + bonus potential
