Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a highly successful manufacturing company in its search for a Senior Accountant.

A profitable, growing $500M+ organization is hiring a Senior Accountant to backfill a planned retirement. This is a true corporate accounting role with strong close ownership and opportunities to streamline manual processes.

Work model: Hybrid — in office Tue/Wed/Thu (may be a bit more onsite during ramp-up).

What you’ll do
  • Own key parts of month-end close (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Support consolidations/reporting and improve work currently done outside the system
  • Assist with multi-state sales tax workflows (Excel-based) and identify efficiencies
  • Support rebate accounting (manual processes) and improve documentation/controls


What we’re looking for
  • 4+ years accounting experience (corporate and/or public)
  • Strong close fundamentals + Excel
  • Curious, hands-on, improvement mindset
  • Nice to have: public accounting (audit), sales tax exposure, Oracle EPM/consolidations familiarity
