Senior Accountant

Publicly traded company located in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a Senior Accountant. In this position, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for general accounting functions. Duties for the Senior Accountant include conducting general ledger management, accruals, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, assist with 10Q and 10k filings, and month / quarter / year-end closes. The Senior Accountant will also handle cash flow management and reporting, fixed assets, ERP and SOX compliance, additional ad hoc financial reporting functions, accounting pronouncement research, assist with enhancing accounting processes, and balance sheet analysis.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA / CPA tracking with at least two years of public accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP, SOX, and technical accounting knowledge is ideal.
• Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills are also required.
• $100 - 110k + bonus.
