Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Renewable Energy industry. You will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, preparing financial reports, and controlling the company's income and expenses. You will work closely with our financial management team to create budgets, analyze profitability, and make recommendations for improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports to help management make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance profitability and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the financial management team to set financial goals and determine fiscal strategy.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with taxation laws.
  • Manage the company's income and expenses and make recommendations for cost-saving strategies.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff in the accounting department.
  • Participate in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA track is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
