Role Summary

Sakuu is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for monthly close activities, inventory and cost accounting, and financial reporting, with direct exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. The position is fully on-site and reports to the Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Manage inventory and cost accounting, including variance analysis
• Partner with operations to validate production data, BOMs, and inventory movement
• Prepare internal financial reports and balance sheet and P&L analysis
• Support audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Assist with cash flow and working capital analysis

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close process
• Manufacturing or technology accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup or high-growth company experience
• Extensive ERP experience
• Audit support experience

Compensation

• Base salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
