Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for a 2-3 month contract engagement with the potential for extension. Key Responsibilities
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Perform account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
Assist with financial reporting and general ledger activities
Extract, validate, and analyze financial data for ongoing system implementations and process improvements
Partner with accounting and project teams to ensure data accuracy during system-related initiatives
Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite is required
Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Ability to pull, analyze, and manipulate accounting data from ERP systems
Experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or data migration projects is highly preferred
Strong Excel skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
