The Senior Accountant will oversee accounting operations for a multi-entity portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while leading month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and supervising the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This position works closely with leadership, operations, and property management to support the organization's financial success.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Prepare monthly financial statements, property-level financial reports, and variance analyses
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities
