Work is complex, consisting of both transactional accounting and multi‑faceted financial analysis. The role routinely identifies and analyzes detailed financial issues while maintaining an enterprise‑wide perspective. Responsibilities include understanding relationships between all subsidiaries, determining appropriate data levels for analysis, reporting findings relevant to audiences, managing financial reporting, and maintaining the general ledger system for assigned entities. The candidate demonstrates expert knowledge of financial systems and procedures relevant to the enterprise and its subsidiaries, collaborates with accounting and cross‑functional teams to assure the integrity of financial information, identifies improvement areas, proactively addresses problems, escalates issues to leadership, recommends new processes, and implements internal controls. The role may serve as project leader and subject‑matter expert, staying current on emerging professional issues and initiatives. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills are required, along with a solid understanding of the global accounting system and its applications. The candidate must organize and prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrate accuracy, detail orientation, initiative, and maintain a high level of energy while committing to continuous learning and development.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another Business‑related degree with an Accounting minor required; Accounting degree preferred.At least two years of related work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or other professional certification is desirable but not required.BenefitsSanford offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying full‑time and part‑time employees.
