LHH is partnered with a privately held company on a newly created Senior Accountant search resulting from a recent acquisition!This opportunity offers an excellent culture, strong work-life balance, a competitive compensation package that includes a 10% bonus, and the chance to get your foot in the door with a respected family office.ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close activities, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, accruals, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Oversee cash management, forecasting, banking relationships, wire transfers, and treasury operations while providing financial reporting and analysis to leadership.Manage the full revenue and expenditure cycle, including invoicing, collections, accounts payable, vendor payments, customer account reconciliations, and credit card accounting.Direct inventory accounting and reporting activities, including cycle counts, reconciliations, adjustments, cost analysis, and margin reporting.Ensure compliance with payroll, sales tax, audit, and other regulatory requirements while serving as a liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.Drive process improvement initiatives, strengthen accounting workflows and controls, and support technology enhancements, automation projects, and system implementations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of external audit or accounting experience.Inventory management or cost accounting exposure is required.
