Key Responsibilities of our Senior Accountant
Financial Reporting & General Ledger
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial statements
- Lead month-end close activities, including key balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitor the general ledger for unusual activity, coding inaccuracies, and posting issues
- Consolidate financial results and provide variance analysis and insights to leadership
Fixed Assets & Capital Expenditures
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and supporting documentation
- Record fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers, and related activity
- Support capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and analysis
- Improve fixed asset system reporting and data accuracy
Payroll & Compliance
- Review payroll journal entries and payroll-related accruals for accuracy
- Support sales and use tax filings and vendor compliance documentation
- Assist with internal controls, audits, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Systems & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline manual accounting processes
- Improve reporting workflows and system utilization
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance accounting tools, documentation, and knowledge sharing

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Strong general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliation experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with payroll and fixed asset systems preferred.
