Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant



  • Lead full-cycle accounting, including close, entries, and reconciliations

  • Prepare and review financial statements and variance analyses

  • Manage general ledger in compliance with GAAP

  • Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and planning

  • Support audits and maintain controls and documentation

  • Improve processes to streamline workflows

  • Mentor junior accounting staff as the Senior Accountant


Qualifications for the Senior Accountant



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

  • Strong GAAP and financial reporting expertise

  • Experience with close, reconciliations, and analysis

  • Advanced Excel and accounting systems skills

  • CPA or CPA-track preferred

  • Strong communicator; thrives in a collaborative, in-office setting
