Description
Senior Accountant
Salary: $75,000-$85,000
Location: Tigard, OR

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement support
- Maintain fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and amortization schedules
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and recommend process improvements
- Support payroll accounting, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
- Coordinate audit requests and assist with annual financial audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
