Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Tulsa, OK   ONSITE

Comp: $70,000 - 90,000K

Strategic Business Consulting Services has partnered with a growing construction firm who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting functions and providing financial guidance to the team including project managers.   This opportunity will 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems

- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff

- Assist with external audits and tax filings

- Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Prior experience in a construction environment is a plus
