If you have a passion for financial strategy and a desire to directly contribute to the success of a thriving manufacturing company, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Assist with the preparation of financial statements and support schedule according to corporate timeframes.Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits.Conduct regular ledger activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of entries.Create ad‑hoc reports for various business needs.Prepare tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.Monitor budget preparation and the budgeting process.Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.Implement, modify, and document record‑keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.Proven experience in the manufacturing industry is essential.Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to direct and supervise.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to make data‑driven business decisions.Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong work ethic and a team player mentality.Additional InformationThis role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on our business.
