Job Description
A health services network in Westchester County is actively seeking an experienced Accountant for a promising Senior-level position with their team, maintaining accurate financial records and liaising with various departments.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements
- Maintaining the general ledger and audit worksheets
- Booking monthly journal entries
- Handling internal and external reporting
- Assisting in budget preparation
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong skills in Financial Analysis
- Experience with financial software systems
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in an Accounting role
- Advanced Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification
- Proficiency in Power BI
