Senior Accountant
Salary Range:$72,000–$88,000Schedule: On-site | Valparaiso, Indiana | Full-time
About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of complex accounting functions, financial analysis, and month-end close. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a key contributor to financial accuracy and operational decision-making.
What You’ll Do
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare advanced journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations
Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project tracking
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Review AP/AR activity for accuracy and compliance
Assist with internal and external audits
Mentor junior accounting staff and support process improvements
What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong GAAP knowledge
Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite, JD Edwards, etc.)
Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently
