LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Vineland, NJ. We are in search of a Senior Accountant that will play a key role in supporting the finance function, blending core accounting responsibilities with payroll and select HR-related activities. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, working closely with leadership to support month-end close, financial analysis, budgeting, payroll administration, and external audit and tax processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing organization.
Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Vineland, NJ Work Arrangement: Fully On-Site Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 base salary
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and process bi-weekly payroll, working closely with ADP on payroll administration and issue resolution • Support the CFO with HR-related activities, including benefits renewals and 401(k) administration • Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis • Assist with the annual budgeting process and ongoing budget support • Liaise with external CPA firms for annual audits and tax filings • Support process improvements and help streamline accounting operations • Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior accounting staff
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and month-end close processes • Hands-on experience with Jonas Club Software (Encore) highly preferred • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred • Approximately 5 years of relevant accounting experience • Positive attitude, adaptable mindset, and willingness to support where needed
