Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• 
  
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• 
  
• Prepare financial statements and supporting reports
• 
  
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• 
  
• Support annual audits and coordinate requests from external auditors
• 
  
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• 
  
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
• 
  
• Partner cross-functionally with operational and finance leaders on special projects
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen reporting efficiency
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 
  
• CPA designation or active pursuit preferred
• 
  
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• 
  
• Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and workpapers
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets
• 
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• 
  
• Public accounting or complex corporate accounting experience highly valued
•
