We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the healthcare industry. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in our expanding organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, with a specific focus on the healthcare sector. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including clean up projects, advanced troubleshooting, and optimization of accounting procedures and policies. This position will also involve the use of Concur Invoice and ERP implementation.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all general ledger accounting, including but not limited to, reconciliations, depreciation, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
2. Lead clean up projects to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
3. Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve accounting issues promptly.
4. Apply previous healthcare experience to make informed financial decisions and recommendations.
5. Manage the Concur Invoice system to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
6. Play a pivotal role in ERP implementation, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal system performance.
7. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance financial reporting.
8. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations and contribute to the overall success of the company.
9. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
10. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial principles.
4. Proven experience with clean up projects, advanced troubleshooting, and optimization of accounting procedures.
5. Previous experience with Concur Invoice and ERP implementation is a must.
6. In-depth understanding of accounting policies and procedures.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not required.
