LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Financial Analyst role for a global manufacturer. This role supports the financial performance of a manufacturing/plant operation through P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis. The Financial Analyst partners closely with plant finance leadership and operations to provide clear insight into performance drivers, highlight risks and opportunities, and support data‑driven decision making.This is a hands‑on, on‑site role with strong exposure to plant operations, cost structure, and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly P&L close for the plant, including variance analysis and commentaryPrepare and maintain monthly forecasts and annual operating budgetsPerform budget‑to‑actual analysis, identifying key drivers and trendsConduct deep‑dive financial analysis on labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, productivity, and marginsPartner with plant leadership to explain financial results and support corrective actionsDevelop and maintain financial models to support operational initiatives, cost improvement, and capital requestsTrack and analyze key plant KPIs and convert data into actionable financial insightsSupport cost accounting activities, including standard cost reviews and variance analysisAssist with audits, internal controls, and financial reporting as neededContinuously improve reporting tools, processes, and financial transparency at the plant levelQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field2–5 years of financial analysis or accounting experience in a manufacturing or plant environment preferredStrong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and budgetingAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)Experience working with ERP systems; comfort pulling and analyzing large data setsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsDetail‑oriented with the ability to see the bigger pictureExcited to learn more about this role?
