Job Title: Senior Accountant
Salary: $80,000-$90,000
Location: Wooster, Ohio

With a strong reputation for operational excellence and long-term stability, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, operational analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities (Senior Accountant):
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports while supporting month-end and year-end close activities
• Analyze financial performance, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management
• Support inventory accounting, operational reporting, and margin analysis across multiple business lines
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial modeling initiatives
• Support audit, compliance, and internal control processes while ensuring adherence to GAAP
• Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and reporting automation projects
Qualifications (Senior Accountant):
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge
• Experience in distribution, energy, transportation, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and financial modeling
