Senior Accounting Manager – LIHTC


$100,000–$120,000 | Hybrid Schedule (Columbus, OH)
We are partnering with a Central Ohio organization to hire a Senior Accounting Manager with Affordable Housing / LIHTC experience to support a growing real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys overseeing complex property accounting, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements within a mission-driven environment.

What you’ll be doing:


• Oversee accounting for a portfolio of LIHTC and affordable housing properties
• Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, GAAP, and investor reporting requirements
• Partner with asset management, development, and property management teams
• Lead audit and tax support processes, including partnership accounting
• Mentor staff and help improve accounting processes and workflows

What we’re looking for:


• Strong accounting background with LIHTC / affordable housing experience
• Experience with partnership accounting and real estate structures
• CPA preferred (or on track)
• Experience with Yardi or similar property accounting systems preferred
• Detail-oriented with leadership experience and ability to manage deadlines
