Client Overview:
Our client is a long-standing nonprofit healthcare organization looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager. This company is looking for an experienced professional who can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently. Experience in leading a team is a huge plus.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$42/hr - $45/hr

Position Overview:
Applicants for the Senior Accounting Manager position must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Looking for min. 4-6 years' experience with month-end close, bank recs, account recs, etc. The ideal candidate should be hardworking and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A background in the non-profit and healthcare industry and experience working with grants is a plus.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Manager:
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Overseeing and coordinating with staff on Accounts Payable and Receivables.
  • Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast on a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis.
  • Working on budget and financials to prepare for the board and executives.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accounting Manager:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nonprofit experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • ERP systems experience.
  • Leadership, communication, and financial analysis on an accounting team are all big pluses.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or a related field is required.
