Senior Accounting Manager

A fast-growing, product-driven SaaS company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join the team on a temporary basis to support its global finance operations during a critical phase of growth. This position is fully remote and open to candidates based on the East Coast of the United States. Who You Are Experienced finance professional with at least 7 years of accounting experience and at least 2 years of leadership experienceSkilled in managing financial operations for subscription-based SaaS businessesConfident working hands-on in NetSuite, especially with general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closeFamiliar with revenue recognition and system integration using ZuoraComfortable leading distributed teams across time zones, including international locationsAdept at navigating both statutory and financial auditsWell-versed in US GAAP and IFRS standardsKnown for clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindsetPassionate about fostering team cohesion and ensuring smooth transitionsWhat You'll Do Lead the month-end close process using NetSuiteOversee revenue recognition workflows in Zuora, ensuring compliance with ASC 606Manage a small, globally distributed accounting teamCollaborate cross-functionally to support the integration of Zuora into existing systemsMaintain oversight of the general ledger, internal controls, and audit readiness for multiple entitiesEnsure consistency and alignment across international accounting operationsSupport year-end audit activities and reporting, with a fiscal year ending December 31What Success Looks Like Month-end close is completed accurately and on scheduleRevenue recognition processes are streamlined and compliantTeam members feel supported, aligned, and productive during a period of transitionAudit processes are smooth, with minimal findings and strong documentationAccounting systems and processes are optimized for scalability and integrationStakeholders are confident in the accuracy and reliability of financial reportingPay Rate Range: $70-90 per hour, based on experience Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
