Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER for rapidly growing non-automotive service based client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Accounting Manager role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Multi-site / multi-entity experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Understanding of WIP
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Accounting Manager role
Own the monthly close for mulitple sites, ensuring consistent timelines, policies, and chart-of-accounts treatment across locations
Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for site leadership
Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across sites
Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet support prepared by site and AR/AP staff
Directly manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team
Prepare and consolidate accurate, timely financial reporting across assigned sites.
Support cash flow and liquidity reporting, including AR/AP aging and working-capital trends across assigned sites
Analyze complex reconciliations and build financial models to support ad hoc initiatives and site-level decision-making
Other Duties as assigned
