Charlotte, North Carolina, United StatesJob DescriptionThe Senior General Accounting & Systems Specialist is accountable for maintaining, updating and redesigning (as necessary) the intercompany cost allocation model to achieve accurate intercompany accounting. This person is responsible for managing, manipulating and calculating large amounts of data using specific systems/apps/tools to ensure appropriate transfer pricing methods and accurate tracking of results. The individual collaborates and maintains strong working relationships with team members in Bucharest where intercompany payments and receipts are handled. The individual will interact and collaborate with colleagues in Ireland and Paris, the centers for most of our foreign intercompany cost allocations and home (Paris) to our internally developed global costing tool. The individual is responsible for maintaining and updating the operating expense database, which feeds numerous reports and analytics. The individual performs detailed analysis of results and variances to ensure accurate legal entity expense reporting, and provides value added commentary. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the General Accounting functions.ResponsibilitiesMaintain, update and/or redesign (as needed) US Life intercompany cost allocation model in Excel in compliance with service level agreements with affiliates. Use of Alteryx, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Pivot and Power Query is required. Ensure output is accurate and is entered correctly into global costing tool (CostVision).Develop and maintain mastery of SCOR's global intercompany costing tool (CostVision/PaPM) and related inputs, outputs and reporting.
