What you will enjoy doing*

• You will provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager, ensuring a high level of support and understanding of all aspects of accounts payable duties
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, reporting, accrual support and audit requests as needed
• Understand ERP(SAP) system in all aspects of Accounts Payable, not limited to invoice processing, Payment processing, reporting as well as general working knowledge of Procurement processes
• In addition, you will support various types of accounts payable processes including but not limited to invoice verification, expense report validation and review of related payments, while having a thorough understanding of accounts payable policies (signature matrix for approval thresholds, Travel and Expense and Company Credit Card policies in particular)
• Works closely with others to provide internal support for Concur Travel & Expense, as well as external support for vendors
• Prepares account reconciliations of vendor driven GL's to comply with accounting requirements and reports as requested by upper management and general AP requirements
• Partners with and provides instruction as needed to AP support team in India as well as working closely with other AP team members in the office
• Supports compliance with all accounts payable policies, controls and checks and balances
• Review, validate and process vendor invoices in SAP. Initiate and follow up on SAP workflow invoice approvals in a timely manner to ensure timely payments to be made via ACH and Check
• Lastly you will support the Finance and Accounting team along with business requests as they arise

What makes you great

• You will have a high level of accounts payable working knowledge
• 6+ years' experience in an accounts payable setting
• 2+ years' experience in expense report validation experience, including travel and entertainment policy compliance
• In addition you will have effective computer skills including Microsoft applications with strong excel skills (pivot tables, Xlookup/Vlookup) SAP, and other company and discipline specific software applications
• Serving as a primary administrator for Concur Travel & Expense, including employee setup/termination, corporate card administration, technical support, reconciliations, reporting, policy compliance and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
• You will have the ability to multi-task, reprioritize activities with a willingness to learn new skills
• Lastly you will be team-oriented with an ability to self-review with a focus on details
