Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• 
  
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• 
  
• Record journal entries and perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• 
  
• Prepare financial reports and analyze accounting results to ensure accuracy
• 
  
• Monitor revenue activity and support accurate financial reporting
• 
  
• Assist with invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliation activities
• 
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit requests, and special accounting projects
• 
  
• Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and recommend process improvements
• 
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting workflows and internal controls
• 
  
• Assist with automation initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts
• 
  

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 
  
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles
• 
  
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• 
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• 
  
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• 
  
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
