Description Amazon's advertising business is experiencing rapid growth, creating unique challenges in managing high-volume advertising submissions while maintaining exceptional customer experience and meeting advertiser demands. Key job responsibilities - Develop and manage comprehensive policy sets, from conceptualization through implementation and monitoring - Deliver clear risk assessments and high-quality written presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership - Create business requirement documents for product teams to ensure policy compliance - Foster collaborative relationships across Ad Trust Policy, Sales, Legal, PR, Public Policy, and other business units - Manage high-risk and high-impact escalations alongside moderation and support teams - Develop deep understanding of ad tech systems, particularly Amazon's infrastructure, to guide policy development A day in the life As a member of the Advertising Trust's Policy & Integrity team, you'll work across Amazon's business lines to shape customer experience and long-term strategy for Amazon Advertising. Our team combines extensive online advertising experience with expertise in customer experience solutions, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. We seek innovative, customer-obsessed individuals who think deeply about complex challenges. About the team The Ad policy team owns global ad policies across all Ad products and Amazon Publishers. This dynamic team is an integral part of how we support Amazon Advertising and as such has touch points across multiple areas of our business. We make a customer impact with every ad we serve and pride ourselves on doing so with a customer centric focus. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development) - Knowledge of current industry standards - Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Experience analyzing data to make business decisions - 7+ years' experience in content moderation, ad tech, product policy, or advertising policy roles - Proven experience working with PR, Legal, and Public Policy teams in high-pressure environments - Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree (Master's, JD, or MBA) - Experience managing large-scale policy initiatives - Strong background in metrics and data analysis - Expertise in digital advertising policy, compliance, or legal matters Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
