The Senior Administrative Assistant will plan, implement and coordinate activities relating to students and faculty support in the Department of Health Policy & Management. Responsibilities for supporting Masters & Doctoral level student programs include: admissions processing, assessing eligibility for scholarships and awards, assisting in developing course schedules, event planning logistics, providing academic and general student support, and monitoring the accreditation process for the department's various academic programs. The Senior Administrative Assistant will design, evaluate and implement accurate record-keeping systems and assist students and their advisors in the successful completion of academic requirements for coursework, the administrative residency or practicum, the public health analysis and overall graduation requirements. The incumbent of this position works under the direction of the Program Manager to assist the Program Directors on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year relevant experience.

OR

  • High School Diploma and five (5) years' relevant experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Previous program coordination experience in education, public health, government, or non-profit agency.
  • Experience in or working knowledge of institutions of higher education
  • Familiarity with academic accreditation processes.
  • Bachelor's degree.
