Major/Essential Functions
Summary- Direct the day-to-day operations of a multi-suite executive office facility, ensuring a safe and professional environment for occupants and visitors.
Lead visitor services and front desk operations (40%):- Coordinate and manage visitor protocols in partnership with the Chancellor's Office and other departments to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for university leadership and external stakeholders.
- Provide Board of Regents' meeting support in coordination with the board office.
- Serve as a point of contact between system administration departments and external organizations regarding meetings and functions.
- Manage scheduling and readiness for 13 shared conference rooms, ensuring spaces are appropriately configured to support meetings and presentations.
- Ensure deliveries are received and distributed to suites.
- Monitor visitor parking.
Manage building operations and maintenance (35%):- Oversee daily operational readiness of the facility, coordinating with custodial services, grounds maintenance, parking, and other university operations areas.
- Serve as point of contact for departments on building maintenance issues, initiating work orders for building maintenance and conference room technology.
- Identify facility improvement opportunities and initiate preventative maintenance measures.
- Manage the display of the system office flags in partnership with operations.
- Oversee shared break room spaces, including inventory and restocking.
Coordinate building security and emergency management (15%):- Serves as facility security monitor, monitoring cameras and overseeing equipment functionality to support a safe and secure environment.
- Act as Building Emergency Manager and primary contact with university operations for safety incidents.
- Manage door access control and coordinate permissions with university operations.
- Maintain and regularly update emergency contact and response information to ensure organizational continuity.
Provide staff leadership and support (10%):- Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student employees who support front desk and building operations, developing work schedules and establishing expectations to ensure high-quality customer service and daily operations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in area of expertise or closely related area required. Five (5) years of experience in planning, developing, or implementing programs or research grants. Additional education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
