Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - WeldingAs a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Welding at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Engineering Director and work onsite at our Torrance, CA location.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as machining, welding, brazing and assembly of complex aerospace components.Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.Familiar with NX or similar CAD software.WE VALUEAdvanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineering) or Manufacturing Engineer.Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results.Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.Strong project management skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - $126,000.
