Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer - Technical Validator

Overview As a Senior Technical Validator at Honeywell, you will support technical validation activities for engines, power systems and mechanical controls systems for Aero and UAM aircrafts. You will review drawings for manufacturability, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to industry and internal standards; verify geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure proper fit at the next-level assembly; and review 3D model integrity to ensure accurate translation to CAD and CAM tools. You will act as a technical lead for less experienced engineers and lead continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture, design standards, tools and process improvements.You will report directly to engineering leadership and will work out of the Tempe, AZ, Torrance, CA or South Bend, IN location.
