As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading new product development and sustaining projects in the Supra and Onity product line for the Building Automation (BA) group. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation, ensuring the successful development and delivery of high-quality products, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

You will report directly to our Engineering Program Manager, and you will work out of our Salem, Oregon and/or Atlanta, Georgia location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the development and enhancement of our Supra and Onity product line, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers and align with industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to drive project success and deliver products on time and within budget.

Requirements

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 5 plus years of engineering experience in New Product Development within a global organization, including leading at least two software/hardware products to high volume manufacturing.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work in ambiguity and navigate through complex and uncertain situations.
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation, leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Servant leadership approach.
  • Advanced engineering degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the building automation industry and knowledge of industry standards and regulation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desired.
  • Experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
