What role will you play on our team
What will you do
network that can be leveraged to expand the company's business. The successful candidate will be responsible
for assisting the Federal Government Relations team in meeting their business goals through direct engagement
with policymakers and indirect advocacy via trade associations and other external resources
Develop concise but detailed briefing papers for senior corporate management in advance of meetings and other engagements with legislators and executive branch officials
Provide briefing materials to senior corporate management in advance of trade association board and executive committee meetings
Work collaboratively with the Federal Government Relations team to support the execution of policy positions and strategies to advance the interests of ExxonMobil
Monitor the development of federal political and related business issues that affect the companys reputation; execute strategies for addressing each issue and deploy resources to ensure management of issues and best practices to ensure consistent approach across priority policy initiatives
Support the development and dissemination of positions to advance ExxonMobil's objectives, including policy-related talking points and messages for use by the company's leaders
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate hands-on leadership, bringing a high level of focus and involvement to drive government relations strategy development and program execution
Skills and Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with an ability to support multiple projects in a rapidly evolving environment while meeting deadlines
A Bachelor's degree is required (advanced degree preferred)
