Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AEM Developer with 5+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM components, templates, workflows, DAM, AEM as a Cloud Service, Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React or Angular. The candidate will work with architects, UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, content fragments, and DAM solutions.
- Support AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), authoring, publishing, and Dispatcher configurations.
- Configure Blueprints, Live Copies, MSM, and Rollout Configurations.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
- Develop backend services and integrations using Java, Apache Sling, and OSGi.
- Build REST/API integrations with third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot production, indexing, synchronization, and search-related issues.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical documentation, and production support.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience.
- Strong experience with AEM Components, Templates, Workflows, DAM, Content Fragments.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) preferred.
- Strong Java, Apache Sling, OSGi experience in an AEM environment.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 skills.
- Experience with React or Angular.
- Experience with AEM Dispatcher, MSM, Blueprints, Live Copies, Rollout Configurations.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Elasticsearch/search experience preferred. - AEM certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
- Location Requirement: Dearborn, MI — 4 days onsite / 1 day remote. Fully remote is not available. Candidate must be local to Metro Detroit or willing to relocate.
