Senior AI Agentic Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Level AI Agentic Senior Technical Engineer for a hybrid 9-12 month remote contract to hire opportunity with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH (Other markets will consider in Ohio, Akron, Cleveland, Cincinnati), Minneapolis, MN, Dallas, TX, Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, and Tupelo, MS. This is a hybrid opportunity.

Compensation: $107.00 - $117.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for building AI agents, developing API integrations, and implementing Pub/Sub messaging solutions. The ideal candidate understands the full agentic AI development lifecycle and has experience designing and developing AI solutions. Initially, the role focuses on building AI capabilities for the Commercial Services Loan Operations team, with the expectation that these solutions will eventually scale across the enterprise. This is a hands-on development role that involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate will assume ownership of the current project during the handoff phase, ensuring continuity and successful delivery. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and the ability to lead technical direction and drive change are essential.

Key Requirements:

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience
• Experience developing and integrating APIs
• Experience with end-to-end testing of agentic AI solutions
• Cloud engineering experience, including hands-on experience with Cloud Run (required). Cloud Integration exp a must.
• Java development experience
• Kubernetes experience

Desired Skills:

• Azure experience
• AWS experience
• Experience with Pub/Sub and event-driven architectures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Banking or financial services experience (preferred, but not required)
• Experience leading technical initiatives or engineering teams in this domain
