Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant tjoin our accounting team.
This role involves a balanced focus on General Ledger accounting and Cash accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, attention tdetail, and the ability tmanage multiple accounting processes with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Accounting (50%):
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
Cash Accounting (50%):
Monitor and record daily cash transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and international funds transfers.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
Collaborate with accounts payable/receivable teams for accurate cash accounting.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability twork collaboratively.
Preferred:
CPA or CMA certification.
Exposure tERP systems such as NetSuite and automation tools.
