The Opportunity

As a leader in digital financial services, our customer and employee experiences run on data. We depend on the Ally analytics community to fuel these journeys and to help nearly 10,000 leaders and employees make countless data-driven decisions every day. Our analytics community has hundreds of analytics professionals across Ally in communities focused on business analytics, data science, R, Python, Power BI and more and continues to grow every day. As you read this, our Technology and Digital organization is deploying our new Cloud Computing platform to accelerate and expand our digital capability. We're looking for a passionate analytics professional with great communication skills for our . This person will execute quantitative analysis and problem solving to develop in-depth business-relevant insights, scenario based assumptions and forward-looking analysis. Utilizes data from databases, internal reports, market/business trends, and/or financial statements in analysis. Plays integral role in strategy development and associated risk management. They will also mentor developing analytics professionals and connect with other analytics teams to build capability. The Work Itself

In this role you will help us make data driven decisions by:

  • Independently interfacing with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate analysis that drive business objectives and targets
  • Performs analysis to drive change within the business
  • Identify, quantify and propose risk/reward trade-off of recommendations
  • Developing strategy and associated performance analysis that achieve business objects and results
  • Apply knowledge of business and balanced judgment in interpretation of data
  • Provide analytical and data support in the design and review of strategy tests and current operations
  • Leading analytics projects which require technical sophistication and the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and quickly provide results and recommendations
  • Engage in a culture of Diversity and Inclusion

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USD

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
