    Description

    About the RoleThe Sr. Analyst, Agreements is responsible for processing all types of publisher agreements that impact quarterly royalty distributions. This role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve agreement-related issues, support escalated inquiries, and help ensure accurate and timely royalty payments. The Senior Analyst also assists with training team members and contributes to process improvement efforts that support a positive experience for BMI writers and publishers.ResponsibilitiesReview and process all types of agreements that impact royalty distributions in a highly visible, fast-paced environment.Partner with BMI's Creative and Legal teams to support high-value, priority agreements.Respond to inquiries and communicate BMI's publisher agreement policies, practices, and procedures to internal and external customers.Assist with escalated agreement-related inquiries from affiliates and other internal and external customers.Train and coach team members to strengthen knowledge, quality, and overall team outcomes.Contribute to operational development initiatives, transformation efforts, and related systems testing.Collaborate with the Affiliations, Works, Repertoire Quality, Audio-Visual, and Adjustments teams to support account data quality.Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements.Assist with maintaining current standard operating procedures.Serve as a subject matter resource for department leadership as needed.Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.Support BMI's Core Values and help cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion.Demonstrate regular attendance.RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in administration, operations, music business, music publishing, or a related field.Skills & AbilitiesExperience working with and maintaining database systems and reports.Strong problem-solving and critical‑thinking skills.Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Working knowledge of Salesforce.Strong computer navigation and systems skills.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K with employer match on 100% of the first 4%.Flexible Spending AccountsHybrid Office Schedule & Remote FridaysShort-Term & Long-Term Disability BenefitsPaid Vacation & Sick/Personal TimePaid Volunteer Time Off12 Paid HolidaysSummer Half-DaysCompany Paid Life InsuranceUp to 12 weeks Paid Parental LeaveTuition Assistance ProgramCommuter Benefits (New York)Employee Resource GroupsEntertainment discounts and access to BMI concerts and events in our officesEmployee appreciation events and holiday parties hosted at all office locationsJob DetailsLocation: Nashville, TN, USA – Hybrid schedule.
