Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our reputable rehabilitation center in Orlando, FL. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations, including outpatient, inpatient, and home health care settings. Your expertise will support patients in achieving optimal recovery and functional independence through personalized care plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

Duties
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels, utilizing medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics-focused interventions.
  • Administer treatments across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital units, and home health visits.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and facilitate seamless transitions between care environments.
  • Document treatment sessions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed patient records.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home/community care practices.
  • Assist in managing acute care cases by providing targeted interventions for patients with complex needs.
  • Support the development of comprehensive discharge plans that promote continued recovery at home or in community settings.
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements
  • Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida or relevant licensing authority.
  • Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
  • Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and patient education.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Knowledge of trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, and community-based care practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and engage patients effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
