    Description

    Overview:

    The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics & Insights is responsible for translating complex data into actionable business insights. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Real Estate, etc.) to support strategic decision-making through advanced analytics, modeling, and storytelling.

     

    This is a hands-on role for a highly analytical professional who can independently own analyses end-to-end, influence stakeholders, and help elevate analytics maturity across the organization.

    Responsibilities:
    • Partner on advanced analytical projects to support business strategy, performance optimization, and growth initiatives
    • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities can change
    • Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks used by senior leadership
    • Partner with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous questions into clear analytical approaches
    • Communicate insights through compelling data storytelling and executive-ready presentations
    • Validate data accuracy, improve data quality, and document analytical methodologies
    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
    • 3-5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science
    • Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, window functions, performance optimization, data manipulation)
    • Working Knowledge of Python or R for analysis and modeling
    • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
    • Solid understanding of statistics and forecasting methods
    • Good understanding of data flow, turning raw data into business facing
    • Proven ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
    • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in retail, e-commerce, CPG, or multi-location businesses
    • Experience working with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
    • Familiarity with automation, scheduling, and scalable analytics workflows
    • Ability to multi-task with extreme attention to detail
    • Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow through skills
    • Possess agility, can shift between projects without a loss of overall quality
    • Proactive and positive attitude, able to handle and navigate push back
